FPH - Steel Strapping Tensioner - Extra Heavy Duty - Up to 32mm
STR-TO-018 (FPH)What is a Steel Strapping Tensioner?
A steel strapping tensioner is a tool used to tighten (tension) steel banding/strapping around a load (e.g. pallet, crate, bundle, sheet-metal stack, timber, etc.) to secure it for transport/storage.FPH - Steel Strapping Tensioner - Extra Heavy Duty - Up to 32mm
The FPH steel strapping tensioner is a model of heavy-duty tensioner designed for wide steel strapping — up to 32 mm width. It’s typically used on flat pack or palletised loads — sheet material, crates, bundled goods, etc. After the strap is tightened with the tensioner, a sealer or buckle/clip + crimping tool is used to seal the strap, and excess strap is cut off with a cutter. Not ideal for round/irregular bundles.TLS20 - Steel Strapping Tensioner - Standard - Up to 19mm
TLS20 is a go-to standard-duty manual hand-tensioner for steel strapping jobs on pallets or flat-pack loads when you’re using 13–19 mm wide steel strapping. The TLS20 weighs a portable 2.2 kg and is aimed at “standard duty” — suitable for light-to-medium palletising and packaging tasks. You simply loop the steel strap around the load, you feed it through the TLS20, pull the handle to tighten (apply tension), then use a sealer/crimper + metal seal/clip to lock the strap, and finally a cutter to trim the excess. Not ideal for round/irregular bundles.
